Encouraging international cooperation in conjunction with
Mammoth Cave National Park’s designation as both a
World Heritage Site and an International Biosphere Reserve.

• $5,000+ to establish the International Researcher Exchange Grant Program.  This program would provide grants of up to $5000 to support 1) scientists and researchers from outside the United States to come to Mammoth Cave National Park to conduct research, and 2) US researchers doing work at Mammoth Cave to visit related international sites to do comparative research. These grants will help offset the costs associated with international research.  Grant proposals will be evaluated based on quality of the proposed international interaction and how centrally the proposed research is tied to the Mammoth Cave area.
